Part III of my Avengers Dragons Series!
Okay, so the Hulk. Bruce Banner. Two wildly different personalities. I was trying to figure out how best to show them both when I realized that most likely the Avengers would have met these dragons while in battle gear, as it were. So appearance wise, this guy was definitely going to look like the Hulk. But they're smart dragons, so he probably would have sensed Bruce at the same time. The end result was a giant puppy dragon. Yeah, that's right, this little guy is just slightly bigger than a Great Dane. Which, compared to the other's dragons, is really really small. So he looks the least lethal, can play like a puppy, but he also has the sharpest claws and teeth. One of my favorite images in my head is this little guy curled up on the Hulk's shoulders.

The concept behind this series is this:
I have always always adored drawing dragons. Like, seriously my sketchbooks are filled to the brim with them (they're always what I draw when I can't think of anything to draw). Yet somehow I don't have enough of them here on dA.
I've also been wanting to do something with the Avengers for a very long time. So these things just kind of clashed.
Now, understand, these are actually not the Avengers just as dragons. These are dragon companions. It's this idea I've had that when this particularly breed of dragon bonds with a rider they also begin to mirror their riders. This will become a lot clearer when I do the full body images with their fellow Avenger I promise. You'll be seeing Hulk's actually later today.

's Dragon!Avengers. I'm not trying to steal her idea, I actually forgot I had seen those until recently! But regardless her series is totally awesome and you should go check her out.))

Oh my goodness, what an adorable idea. Such a great design - and a wonderful balance of Hulk's appearance and Bruce Banner.
