Ability: She can tell when people are lying, both when people are speaking or when written on a document. This is useful when it comes to rooting out traitors or such. The weakness is for a person she has to have eye contact, for a document she has to know where it came from (who/what organization wrote it). Also, if the person speaking or the person who originally wrote the document honestly believes what they are writing is true even if it isn’t, she won’t be able tell it is a lie.

Strengths:
Persuasive: She has a way with words that can convince people to do what she wants.
Fast: She can move and dodge very quickly in a battle and relies heavily on a fast offensive battle style.
Honest: Her ability gives her a fault. Whenever she tries to outright lie it can physically hurt her. This is not necessarily a weakness, however, as it has strengthened her ability to tell half-truths and manipulate others when needed.
She is also very intelligent and an excellent strategist.

Faults/Weaknesses:
Strength: She is weak strength wise and is a very poor defender. Her tonfa blades are used as shields to help this, but too often when she uses them it is hard for her to withstand the recoil.
Obsessive: She is not one to let something get away from her. If something goes wrong in a mission or someone gets away that shouldn’t, she will become obsessive about it until it is fixed. Often this leads to her forgetting to eat/drink/take care of herself.
Self-conscious: If she isn’t obsessing over something or leading a mission, she’ll often be very aware of everyone around her and worry about what people think of her.

[ H I S T O R Y ]
>> Verity was born into a very simple home as the second child of a very happy couple. Her life was rather simple until she turned nine, when she realized that not everyone had wings like her. She had talked about it a lot when she was younger and her sister, Vera, and other kids had merely thought she was playing pretend. Verity started to understand she was different and kept quiet about it. She decided that she had wings like an angel and grew up loving the whole idea of being a guardian angel.

>>Her parents were often away on business trips so she started to look to her sister more and more as a role model. Vera, however, became part of some very bad circles as a method of rebellion. When Verity was sixteen, her sister managed to convince her to get demon wings tattooed on her back, despite Verity’s initial hesitation.

>>About a year later, however, her sister’s rebellion went too far and she paid for it with her life. The two had been walking down the street from a store one night when people Vera owed money to threatened them with guns. Vera started to argue back and when it went to far, they fired. Vera pushed Verity out of the way and took a bullet to the heart. Verity almost went insane when the police showed up. As several officers started to chase the killers down, one police officer went directly to Verity and started to calm her down, telling her it was all going to be okay and he wouldn’t let the killers get away. After this talk, Verity realized that she needed to rid the world of evil, not cause it herself. It was then her wings turned white and she became an angel.

>>She stayed with her parents for a little longer and came to terms with her ability, which allowed her to tell whenever her parents and her friends lied to her. Verity kept in contact with the police officer who helped her for several years afterwards until he was killed in duty. Verity personally sought out his killer and delivered what she believed was appropriate justice. She wandered around for several more years until she ran into another angel by the name Seung Hee and joined the Fallen Souls group.


[ P E R S O N A L I T Y ]
>> Introverted: She doesn’t like to talk to people because of her ability. It is often because when they compliment her she is able to tell if they are mocking her by lying or not.
>> Stubborn: She won’t give up on anything or anyone once she puts her mind to it.
>> Loyal: Once you have Verity’s trust she will have your back in anything. Because of this, however, she will never trust you again if you betray her.
>> Calm: It is really hard to rile Verity up. She doesn’t anger easily because she had to tolerate her sister’s occasionally anger outbursts.
>>Mischievous: Although she doesn't seem like it at first, Verity actually loves to cause mischief. Things she learned from her sister taught her how not to ever get caught. She will frequently sneak up on people to scare them or play pranks that she will quite often pin on other people, often other members of her squad.

>>Demons, usually. If you are a demon and she knows it, you will have to try hard to be her friend. It isn’t impossible but it’s hard.
>>People who hate themselves or what they can do. This even includes demons. If Verity sees someone who is upset at something they did or just with themselves in general, she’ll beat sense into their heads (sometimes literally).
>> Traitors, spies and liars.

[ O T H E R ]
>> Verity loves to write in an Old English style. She thinks it’s really pretty.
>> The reason Verity hates demons is because her sister loved them. She felt that it was that love that led to Vera’s death.
>> Verity Avalon IS NOT her birth name; she changed it after she became an angel. She chose Verity for its meaning of truth and the fact it was similar to her sister’s name.
>> Although she doesn’t like demons, Verity refuses to remove the tattoos on her back. They are one of the few things she still has of her sister.
>>She wears her glasses even on missions. She always carries an extra pair just in case something happens. Occasionally she'll wear contacts but only for certain missions or special occasions~ She has a pair of red frames and black frames.
>>Her codename is Loki because she loves to trip people up. It is one thing her sister showed her to do that she loved, making mischief. She will take in all factors into account and sometimes throw her squad for a safe loop just to watch them adapt and train...and for her own amusement.
