"What a funny little world this is! How strange..."
Um...Happy Early-ish Halloween?
This is for
's Tim Burton contest. But really, I just used the contest as an excuse to draw something, particularly something Disney. Like I always do. Because whenever there isn't one I never seem to have time or anything like that. Contests give me deadlines, lol. XD
So! I totally wanted to do something James and the Giant Peach too but it didn't occur to me until after I sketched this out and half-way colored it. And by then I didn't have time to draw anything else. OTL Oh well. So here is a cross-over between Alice in Wonderland and Nightmare before Christmas! I feel like Alice would be even more confused by this world than she was in Wonderland. Or she would somehow feel perfectly at home because it's just as strange. Anyways, I felt that the Cheshire Cat would totally pull an oogie boogie on the moon there (a grin without a cat and all that) and Zero is coming to investigate. I wonder how long it will take him to get Jack's attention about the new company in town? Also, poor Jabberwocky, it seems that somehow his grave ended up in Halloween town! Worse things could happen I suppose. By the way, along the sides of the grave--ignoremyhorriblehandwritingplease--it reads at the top "He left it dead" and then on the left and right "And with its head" "He went galumphing back." From the poem, of course. *7*
Hope you guys like it! <3
